As the govt prepares to appoint caretaker chairmen of council areas in the state as well as coordinators of development centers, a call has been made to ensure that responsible and people of wisdom be appointed so as to ensure positive touch of govt at the grassroots. The failure of the past administration in the state was not far from allowing appointment of retired 419s, illiterates and sycophants to head govt at the local levels in the state. The group that made call noted that recycling of former coordinators who resigned after they were sacked and reappointed by ex gov Elechi, will greatly hurt the the new govt.
