The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) and the Nigeria Computer Society (NCS) are championing stronger collaboration among technology stakeholders to accelerate Nigeria's digital transformation and create more opportunities for small businesses.
At the Principal IT Stakeholders Forum 2025 held in Abuja, NITDA's Director-General, Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, represented by Dr. Aristotle Onumo, emphasized that a connected digital ecosystem is vital to building a tech-driven economy.
> "Building a digitally powered Nigeria is a collective responsibility. Collaboration is the key," he said.

Abdullahi reaffirmed NITDA's dedication to implementing its Strategic Roadmap and Action Plan (SRAP 2.0), focusing on digital literacy, cybersecurity, innovation, and emerging technologies — all crucial to empowering MSMEs to thrive in a fast-evolving digital landscape.
John Odumesi, Chairman of NCS Abuja Chapter, noted that synergy between IT professionals, government, and the private sector will accelerate innovation and inclusive economic growth.
Delivering the keynote, Mrs. Ibukun Odusote, a Fellow of NCS, called for cooperation rather than competition, stressing that "progress in the IT space cannot be achieved in silos."
The forum ended with a renewed commitment from stakeholders to align efforts with NITDA's digital agenda and drive Nigeria's vision of becoming Africa's leading digital economy.
