The Director-General of the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN), *Charles Odii, has assessed ongoing efforts to support *small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Oyo State, with a focus on boosting agricultural productivity.
During his visit, Odii emphasized the need to improve access to quality inputs, extension services, and market linkages to enhance the sector's efficiency.
He also addressed post-harvest challenges, particularly the lack of proper preservation methods that hinder productivity and market acceptance.

Odii also acknowledged the contributions of both large-scale farmers and household-driven initiatives, such as *First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu's "Every Home A Garden" program, in achieving a self-sufficient food system.
The visit underscores the Federal Government's continued efforts to drive agricultural reforms and economic growth through SME empowerment.
