The Lagos State Agricultural Development Authority (LSADA) has trained 100 farmers and aspiring agro-exporters on how to tap into global agricultural markets.
The one-day sensitisation workshop, themed "Unlocking Agricultural Products' Potential for Exports", was held at the LCCI Conference and Training Centre, Alausa, Ikeja. Participants received practical guidance on export readiness, quality assurance, international market standards, and available government support to scale their agribusinesses.

LSADA's Coordinating Director, Mrs. Aderonke Toju-Tubi, represented by Mr. Yunusa Babatunde Yussuf, said the programme was designed to prepare local SMEs in agriculture for global competitiveness and to help them explore opportunities in international markets as part of government's diversification agenda.
Facilitator, Mr. Caleb Afuwape, walked participants through export regulations, marketing strategies, product development, and standardisation, highlighting benefits such as access to foreign exchange, recession-proof opportunities, and leveraging free trade agreements.
