Speaking during a courtesy visit by the UNESCO International Geoscience and Geoparks Programme (IGGP) Nigeria National Committee at the Presidential Villa, Shettima said the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was ready to work with subnational governments and stakeholders to maximise the economic benefits of natural heritage resources. Read also, According to him, developing the sites would not only promote tourism but also create new business opportunities for SMEs in hospitality, transport, crafts, and local services. He stressed that the Federal Government's "doors are open for collaboration" to ensure the sector contributes meaningfully to job creation and sustainable growth.
