The Youth Economic Intervention and De-Radicalization Empowerment Programme (YEIDEP) has advanced to the next stage, with BVN verification now underway for beneficiaries expecting grants ranging from ₦50,000 to ₦500,000.
According to official updates, one of the participating financial institutions has completed collation of bank account details and has commenced the BVN validation process. This step is critical to ensuring that only legitimate and properly registered beneficiaries receive disbursements, helping to eliminate errors and prevent fraudulent claims.
Applicants are advised to ensure that the details linked to their Bank Verification Number—such as name, phone number, and account information—match those submitted during registration. Discrepancies may lead to delays or disqualification.
The YEIDEP grant is part of a broader national initiative aimed at tackling youth unemployment and supporting micro and small-scale enterprises across Nigeria. Thousands of young Nigerians are currently on the shortlist, awaiting confirmation and eventual disbursement.
