The Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC) has urged the Kaduna State Government to harness the state's vast non-oil export resources to create massive youth employment.
Speaking at the Youth Export Development Programme in Kaduna, themed "From Passion to Port: Unlocking Youth Export Potential", NEPC Executive Director, Nonye Ayeni, highlighted Kaduna's rich exportable commodities, including ginger, maize, soybeans, and cotton.
She stressed the need to transform youth from job seekers to wealth creators through capacity building, mentorship, and trade facilitation.

Kaduna State Agricultural Development Agency's General Manager, Muhammad Rili, described agriculture as a "strategic economic driver" and urged youth to dominate global value chains by meeting international standards and leveraging e-commerce.
Commissioner for Youth Development, Gloria Ibrahim, said the state is deepening partnerships to boost youth creativity, innovation, and self-reliance, assuring readiness for more collaborations.
Both NEPC and the Kaduna government pledged joint action to equip young entrepreneurs for global competitiveness, with a focus on sustainable job creation and economic growth.
