Job Description/Requirements Responsibilities:
Infrastructure Management: - Deploy, configure, and maintain staging & production servers.
- Manage services like Elasticsearch, APIs, databases, and application servers.
- Implement access control and least privilege for all systems.
Security & Monitoring: - Set up logging, monitoring, and alerting for infrastructure and applications.
- Harden services (e.g., enable authentication for Elasticsearch, secure API endpoints).
- Support incident response by providing logs and system snapshots when needed.
Automation: - Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments and ensure seamless collaboration between development and operations teams.
- Automate backups, recovery processes, and routine maintenance tasks.
- Use Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, or similar) for reproducible setups.
Collaboration: - Work with developers to deploy code safely and efficiently.
- Coordinate with the security team to patch vulnerabilities and meet compliance requirements.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of all systems, services, and credentials.
Requirements: - Experience with Linux server administration and networking.
- Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes a plus).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Understanding of access control, authentication, and network security best practices.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and documentation habits.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with developers and security engineers
