First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu's Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI), in partnership with the Tony Elumelu Foundation, has disbursed N25 million to 500 women entrepreneurs in Kogi State.
At the launch in Lokoja, beneficiaries each received N50,000 to strengthen their small businesses and improve economic stability. Represented by the Kogi Governor's wife, Hajia Sefinat Ododo, the First Lady said the programme aligns with RHI's nationwide plan to empower 18,500 women, including 500 per state and the FCT.
Funded by a N1 billion donation from the Tony Elumelu Foundation, the initiative targets women traders and entrepreneurs who sustain families and communities.
