Job Description/Requirements Responsibilities: - Plan, design, and oversee mechanical installations, maintenance, and operations.
- Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance strategies for plant equipment.
- Ensure optimal performance and reliability of rotating and static equipment.
- Supervise engineering projects, including equipment commissioning and upgrades.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Analyse equipment failures and recommend effective solutions to minimise downtime.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for seamless plant operations.
Requirements: - B.Sc. or HND in Mechanical Engineering from a recognised institution.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience, preferably in well well-structured manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of pumps, compressors, piping systems, heat exchangers, and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with industry codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API).
- Proficiency in engineering software and maintenance management systems is an advantage.
- COREN registration or membership of relevant professional bodies is desirable.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
