The National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) has launched the second phase of its national campaign to promote Made-in-Nigeria products, holding its second Strategic Focus Group Meeting in Borno State.
The session gathered industrialists, academics, entrepreneurs, SMEs, innovators, and government officials to chart strategies for enhancing confidence in Nigerian-made goods and improving their market acceptance. Discussions focused on improving product quality, competitiveness, market access, and fostering stronger collaboration among the private sector, government, and academia.

The initiative aligns with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's "Nigeria First" policy, which encourages patronage of locally made goods, particularly in government offices. NASENI said the campaign will help conserve foreign exchange, create jobs, empower SMEs, and stimulate industrial growth across the country.
By holding Focus Group Meetings nationwide, NASENI aims to ensure policies reflect the realities of producers and consumers, building stronger value chains and positioning Nigerian products to compete both locally and internationally.
