You'll work on distributed systems that power Learngual's AI-driven language learning platform, designing APIs, managing background processes, and optimizing performance with Django, RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, Airflow, Kubernetes, and Docker. Minimum Qualification : Degree Experience Level : Mid level Experience Length : 3 years Working Hours : Full Time Job Description/Requirements Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain microservices powering core Learngual features. Develop APIs (REST) to integrate frontends, mobile apps, and third-party services. Implement asynchronous event-driven architectures using RabbitMQ. Manage and optimise databases (PostgreSQL) for scalability and performance. Orchestrate workflows and pipelines with Airflow for analytics and AI-driven features. Deploy and manage services in Kubernetes and Docker-based environments. Ensure code quality with unit tests, integration tests, and CI/CD pipelines (Git). Collaborate cross-functionally with frontend engineers, ML engineers, and product teams. Contribute to system security & compliance (RBAC, encryption, logging, backups). Document architecture and processes for internal teams and future scaling Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). 3+ years of backend development experience (Python/Django preferred). Proven experience with microservices and distributed systems. Hands-on expertise in Django/Django REST Framework. Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL (schemas, queries, performance tuning). Experience with RabbitMQ or similar message brokers. Proficiency in Docker & Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration Familiarity with Airflow for background jobs and workflow scheduling. Comfortable with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and code reviews. Solid understanding of security practices (API auth, data protection).
