Governor Monday Okpehbolo announced the programme during the first anniversary of his administration, describing the initiative as a strategic push to ease financing barriers for MSMEs and strengthen local economic resilience. He noted that the loan scheme complements the over 10,000 direct and indirect jobs created within his first year, adding that the intervention reflects a focus on "practical governance that touches lives."
