President Biden, in his State of the Union address last night, sought to frame his 2024 election campaign and offered a wide-ranging look at his domestic priorities for the rest of the year.

2024 election: Biden riffed on his age — a big issue for voters — and referred to Donald Trump multiple times as his “predecessor,” outlining their differing visions for the U.S. [Yahoo News]

Policy issues: Biden talked up his work to boost the economy after the pandemic, predicted abortion rights would help Democrats win this year and called on Trump to support the failed bipartisan border bill. [New York Times]
