Job Description/Requirements Responsibilities: - Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare, process, and track customer invoices and payments, ensuring accuracy, timely billing, and proper reconciliation.
- Maintain and update accurate financial records, client billing histories, and service-related documentation.
- Monitor cash flow, manage petty cash, and assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
- Reconcile bank statements, prepare monthly financial reports, and support external audits.
- Collaborate with operations to ensure proper inventory valuation of automotive parts and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal controls, and tax requirements.
- Analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making and cost control measures.
- Assist in the preparation of payroll and related statutory filings.
- Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal departments to resolve billing or payment discrepancies.
Requirements: - Proven experience as an Accountant, Accounting Officer, or in a similar finance role (experience in an automotive or service-based environment is a plus).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
