Announced by Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology, Chief Uche Nnaji, SEAP aims to deploy at least 5MW of decentralized clean energy to each of Nigeria's 774 LGAs, with a focus on uplifting rural and peri-urban livelihoods. The initiative supports agro-processing, healthcare, transport, and SMEs. A tripartite MoU was also signed with ALGON, Data Analytics & Solutions Int'l Ltd, and CCK Electric Power Technology Co. Aligned with President Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda, SEAP is expected to create jobs, cut emissions, and boost Nigeria's SDG progress.
