The plan, aligned with the African Union's CAADP framework, is designed to guide investments, close financial gaps, and create new opportunities for farmers, agribusinesses, and SMEs. Key initiatives include the Renewed Hope Mechanisation Programme, which has deployed 2,000 tractors to boost crop production, the recapitalisation of the Bank of Agriculture with ₦1.5 trillion for affordable credit, and the creation of the National Agricultural Development Fund.
