CreditPRO Finance Company Limited has reaffirmed its commitment to environmental sustainability with the official launch of its #EndPlasticPollution Campaign, a community-driven initiative designed to promote responsible plastic waste management and greener living across Lagos State.
The campaign, endorsed by the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) and the Office of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), was inaugurated on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at the Chief Anthony Enahoro Housing Estate, Ogba
.
To kic.k-start the initiative, CreditPRO donated plastic collection bins to selected communities, including Chief Anthony Enahoro Housing Estates and George Crescent Estate, Ogba, marking the beginning of a citywide rollout aimed at encouraging waste segregation and recycling at the community level.
Speaking at the launch, CreditPRO's Managing Director, Dr. Sola Adeyiga, said the initiative underscores the company's belief that business continuity and environmental responsibility are inseparable. "The going concern of a business is not guaranteed without a healthy and sustainable environment. This is more than CSR; it's purpose" Adeyiga said.

Dr. Oreoluewa Finnih, Special Adviser to the Governor on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), represented by Mr. Michael Folorunsho, Technical Special Assistant, commended the initiative as "timely and commendable," noting that it aligns with SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities) and supports Lagos State's vision for a cleaner, more resilient environment.
Also speaking, Mrs. Olabisi Shonibare, Director of Partnership, Grant Management and Innovation at Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA), lauded the collaboration, describing plastic pollution as one of Lagos State's most pressing environmental challenges. She urged more private sector organizations to emulate CreditPRO's leadership in advancing sustainable environmental practices.
Mr. Tony Jiboye, Head of Growth & Customer Experience at CreditPRO, explained that the #EndPlasticPollution Campaign will focus on three key areas — the provision of plastic collection bins to gated estates across Lagos State; continuous advocacy and public education to promote proper plastic disposal among residents; and the empowerment of small businesses developing innovative environmental solutions through targeted grants and mentorship opportunities.
