Jack Wilshere says Arsenal are more determined this season and that their high-pressing game has allowed them to battle back from losing positions. “We wanted to work on that this season, not letting our heads go down,“ the 22-year-old said. “When we went in at half-time it was a bit like the Everton game - we said keep going, keep going, we’ll get one goal and we did. Once we were 2-1 up we should’ve won it. We should’ve been smarter, but at the same time we showed great character to come back."
