Transfer Talk Daily Update: Cristiano Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney, Moussa Dembele. Report: Chinese Super League approaches Wayne Rooney over lucrative move Cristiano Ronaldo's agent Jorge Mendes has claimed that it is "impossible" for any club to prise his client away from Real Madrid amid reports that Manchester United will pounce for the Ballon d'Or winner. After the Red Devils sealed a 2-1 victory over Watford on Saturday, manager Louis van Gaal told reporters that he 'hopes' to sign Ronaldo. The 30-year-old, who spent six years playing at United before joining Madrid in a then-world record £80m transfer in 2009, has been linked with a move away from the Bernabeu, and speculation fuelled even further when his side suffered a 4-0 defeat to rivals Barcelona in Saturday's El Clasico. However, Mendes has rubbished the transfer speculation by telling Canal+: "It is impossible. He will end his career at Real Madrid." Ronaldo has scored 13 goals in all competitions for Madrid this season. Report: Chinese Super League approaches Wayne Rooney over lucrative move The Chinese Super League has reportedly approached Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney about a possible big-money move to Asia. The England skipper has been at Old Trafford for the last 11 years, but reports have claimed that the forward is considering various options. According to The Sun, representatives from the CSL have got in touch with Rooney's advisors as they are determined to make the 30-year-old the face of football in China, but no agreement has been reached. Rooney, who has scored seven goals in all competitions so far this season, is said to be earning £300,000 a week at United and has three years left on his current deal. Report: Manchester United want Moussa Dembele Manchester United are reportedly interested in bringing Fulham striker Moussa Dembele to Old Trafford in the January transfer window. The 19-year-old, who has also been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur, has scored eight times in 17 Championship games for Fulham this season. His capital club are desperate for the teenager to pen a new deal at Craven Cottage, but talks are believed to have stalled, with Dembele's current contract due to expire at the end of the campaign. According to Get French Football News, Man United are firmly in the running for the Frenchman and are prepared to wait until next summer to bring him to the Premier League. Dembele recently insisted that he is fully focused on Fulham amid speculation surrounding his long-term future.
