| | What’s this movie about, and where does it fit into the franchise? |
|
| It’s a coming-of-age story that follows Noa, a young ape, as he tries to save his clan from a warring bonobo leader. It takes place long after the 2010s Planet of the Apes reboot trilogy, so you don’t need to watch those first to enjoy it. |

| | I’d say yes! There’s tons of action and strong character development (and no spoilers, but if you need a quick bathroom break, take it just after Noa’s big discovery; you’ll know the one). |

| | What should I know about the visual effects in this movie? |
|
| I thought the visual effects, like the primates’ facial expressions, were stunning and so realistic. You might walk out of the theater thinking about real-life apes differently. |
