The Federal Government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Nigeria Youth Economic Intervention and De-Radicalisation Programme (NIYEIDP) to drive youth empowerment and national development.
Speaking at the signing ceremony in Abuja, Minister of Youth Development, Ayodele Olawande, stated that the initiative aims to equip young Nigerians with economic opportunities, fostering wealth creation and job generation.

The Ministry's Director of Legal Services, Ernest Ezebilo, highlighted that the MoU clearly defines each party's roles, ensuring smooth implementation.
He emphasized that promoting entrepreneurship among youths would curb unemployment and reduce social vices.
NIYEIDP Coordinator, Comrade Kennedy Iyere, described the agreement as a milestone that provides a structured framework for empowering Nigerian youth.
