The Enugu State Structures for Signage and Advertisement Agency (ENSSAA) has announced strict enforcement measures against unauthorized outdoor advertisements, warning that violators will face heavy sanctions.
The agency's General Manager, Mr. Aninwike, stated that pasting or displaying posters without prior approval from ENSSAA would attract a fine of up to N50 million.
Mr. Aninwike said the law empowers the agency to regulate outdoor advertisements and ensure compliance.

"Please note that pasting or displaying posters without first obtaining the written approval of ENSSAA shall attract a fine of up to N50,000,000 only," he said.
He explained that failure to comply with the directive would amount to a violation of Sections 4 (1g), 33, and 34 of the ENSSAA Law 2016, which mandates proper authorization for all outdoor signage and advertisements.
The government reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring compliance with these regulations to maintain a clean and orderly environment in Enugu State.
