The Niger State Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NCCIMA) has concluded preparations to host the 2025 edition of the Niger State Trade Fair.
Speaking with journalists in Minna, the Director General of NCCIMA, Adamu Salihu, confirmed that planning commenced immediately after receiving state government approval, and that significant progress has been made.
Salihu said this year's event is expected to attract exhibitors and visitors from across Nigeria, thanks to improved security measures under the administration of Governor Umar Mohammed Bago.
He added that several government agencies and private companies have already indicated interest in participating, a development he said would help drive economic growth in the state.

Addressing concerns over the ongoing restrictions on motorcycles and tricycles, Salihu assured that the schedule of the fair would allow attendees to safely return to their hotels without inconvenience.
He encouraged other states and businesses to seize the opportunity to showcase their products and services.
Also speaking, NCCIMA President, Dr. Bisi Adeniyi, commended the state government for its commitment to creating a business-friendly environment and urged exhibitors to take the event seriously.
The 2025 Niger Trade Fair is scheduled to take place from 20 to 31 May, under the theme "Commercial agriculture as a major contributor to Nigeria's GDP and development."
Sponsors of the event include Niger Food, BUA Group, the FCTA, N-HYPPADEC, the Niger State Investment Promotion Agency (NSIPA), and the Babanna Border Development Agency.
