In a move set to reshape Nigeria's energy landscape, NNPC Ltd. and Dangote Petroleum Refinery have agreed to deepen collaboration a strategy expected to unlock local supply opportunities and stabilize the downstream market.
The alliance, reaffirmed during a courtesy visit by Dangote Group President, Aliko Dangote, to NNPC's new GCEO, Bashir Bayo Ojulari, signals a shift from competition to cooperation.
"There's no rivalry here we're building together," Dangote stated, highlighting plans to jointly secure Nigeria's energy future.

Ojulari, in turn, emphasized the need for partnerships that deliver commercial value, create jobs, and power enterprise. With the refinery poised to impact fuel pricing and availability, small businesses in logistics, transport, and distribution may soon benefit from a more stable and efficient energy supply chain.
The renewed partnership sets the stage for shared growth across industries dependent on petroleum products.
