Two international seminars on the Blue Economy and Marine Spatial Planning (MSP) have ended in Xiamen, China, with a strong call for international cooperation and sustainable ocean development.
Organised for Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) countries and other developing nations, the seminars attracted participants from Africa, Asia, and allied regions. At the closing event, Mr Xu Zhenbo of the Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Commerce stressed the need for global partnerships, calling participants "Friendship Ambassadors" of marine sustainability.
