The Federal Government has relaunched the National Talent Export Programme (NATEP), reinforcing its commitment to youth empowerment and economic diversification under President Bola Tinubu's administration.
At the Lagos event, Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr. Jumoke Oduwole, described the move as strategic, positioning Nigerian youth for global competitiveness in the $1 trillion outsourcing industry.
"This is more than a programme it's Nigeria's bold step into the global digital economy," she said.
A key highlight was the Ministry's signing of a landmark MoU with Itana, a tech hub in Alaro City, marking deeper investment in the country's talent export ecosystem.

NATEP, once an outsourcing facilitator, now functions as a dynamic Special Purpose Vehicle under the Ministry focused on innovation, employment generation, and foreign exchange earnings.
The initiative aligns with Tinubu's broader economic agenda, prioritising digital transformation, infrastructure growth, and inclusive development.
With this relaunch, the government aims to unlock global opportunities for young Nigerians and strengthen their role in the international digital workforce.
