Lagos State is set to host the 7th Africa Procurement and Supply Chain Summit on July 3–4, 2025, bringing together key industry stakeholders to advance the continent's procurement and supply chain sectors.
With the theme "Driving Impact through Innovation: The Future of Procurement & Supply in Africa," the summit will convene supply chain professionals, industry leaders, and regulators to explore innovative strategies shaping the future of procurement across Africa.
Dr. Clever Ruswa, President of the African Public Procurement Network (APPN) and CEO of the Procurement Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe, will deliver the keynote address. Ruswa is expected to present actionable strategies for enhancing procurement governance with a focus on transparency, sustainability, and competitiveness.

Highlighting the importance of the summit, Dr. Ruswa remarked that it offers a "critical stage for elevating procurement standards," and emphasized how innovation and best practices can drive transparency, foster sustainable growth, and unlock Africa's economic potential.
Under Ruswa's leadership, the APPN, representing public procurement bodies from 46 African countries, has actively championed reforms that align with global standards while addressing Africa's distinct economic challenges.
The summit is poised to be a pivotal platform for transformative dialogue, fostering collaboration across sectors to build resilient, efficient, and transparent procurement systems across the continent.
