The Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) has successfully trained, mentored, and graduated over 800 young entrepreneurs through its Entrepreneurship Mentoring Programme, many of whom are now thriving in their respective businesses locally and internationally.
Speaking at the "3rd LCCI Entrepreneurship Mentoring Exhibition and Day Programme," themed "Transforming Ideas Into Impact: Expanding Sustainable Innovation in Entrepreneurship," LCCI Director General, Dr. Chinyere Almona, celebrated the programme's achievements and acknowledged the generous support of development partners, including the Bank of Industry.

Dr. Almona noted that the initiative, which started 12 years ago with just 25 mentees, has grown into a robust platform producing successful entrepreneurs across various sectors. She emphasized LCCI's ongoing commitment to nurturing innovation and entrepreneurship as a strategy to drive economic growth and job creation in Nigeria.
She praised the collaborative efforts of sponsors and partners who have contributed to the development of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) through mentorship, training, and business development support.
