In a statement released by the CAC management, Magaji addressed what he described as baseless allegations and coordinated attempts to distract him from delivering on his mandate of improving business registration and compliance in Nigeria.

Magaji stated that while constructive criticism is welcome, anyone with credible evidence of wrongdoing should forward such complaints to the appropriate anti-corruption agencies rather than resort to blackmail or misinformation.
He emphasized that the commission remains focused on promoting accountability, efficiency, and investor confidence through its ongoing digital transformation and business-friendly policies.
"The CAC will continue to ensure that Nigerians can register and manage their businesses with ease, transparency, and trust under the Renewed Hope Agenda," the statement concluded.
