Seventeen youth-led enterprises have received support through the NiYA StartUp Pitch 1.0 ,a government-backed initiative advancing Nigeria's MSME ecosystem by turning young innovators into business owners.
The selected startups, drawn from sectors such as agriculture, technology, manufacturing, and services, showcased practical solutions addressing local and national challenges. Enterprises like Agrogrid, Acheva Technologies, Asoro Automotive, and Smartify demonstrated how youth-driven innovation is fueling grassroots enterprise growth.

Through the Nigerian Youth Academy (NiYA), platforms such as NiYA Gigs, NiYA Jobs, and NiYA Academy are equipping young entrepreneurs with the tools to learn, earn, and expand their businesses. The programme is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen MSME development and job creation across the country.
Development partners including Providus Bank and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) pledged continued collaboration to provide funding access, mentorship, and market linkages that will help young MSMEs grow from startups to scalable enterprises.
