The Federal Government, in partnership with prominent Southeast business leaders, is intensifying efforts to deepen collaboration with state governments to accelerate economic growth across Nigeria.
Earlier this week, the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment led a delegation of Southeast investors on a courtesy visit to the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, to explore strategic partnerships that enhance industrial and commercial development.
The visit, according to the Minister, was in line with Presidential directives mandating all ministers to engage stakeholders and foster stronger public-private collaboration.

He disclosed plans for the launch of a new initiative tagged Government and Private Sector (GPS) Dialogue Series, aimed at creating a structured platform for continuous dialogue between policymakers and business leaders to address economic challenges and drive sustainable growth.
The Minister commended Governor Sanwo-Olu for his administration's commitment to infrastructural development and for positioning Lagos as a vital engine of Nigeria's economy.
He expressed optimism that through deeper collaboration and shared vision, Nigeria's economy will witness stronger innovation, productivity, and inclusive prosperity.
