TBH, several factors could explain this perspective. It is possible that highly qualified candidates are already happily employed elsewhere, or that top professionals simply missed the job posting entirely.
I mean, I didn't even see the opening.
Additionally, many companies combine multiple distinct functions into a single role.
This often causes qualified applicants to score lower on assessments because employers are looking for highly unrealistic, hybrid skill sets, like looking for a medical doctor who is also a data analyst.
Ngwa'n, good luck finding a tech Doctor who will treat malaria today and write SQL in the evening on the same job.
