With Nigeria losing an estimated N2.5 trillion annually due to inefficient trade procedures, the NSW Project aims to eliminate delays, simplify trade compliance, and create a seamless export system. The initiative, held in the Igbodu area and coordinated by the Centre for Rural Development, provided hands-on training for both youths and adults on modern fish farming techniques—from rearing to sales. The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Kikelomo Bolarinwa, urged participants to apply their knowledge diligently, stressing that success in fish farming requires persistence. At the end of the programme, participants received smoking kilns, fish feeds, and tanks to support and expand their businesses.
