Lagos Agrithon 2025 is back with a bigger vision transforming from a startup challenge into a movement for youth-led innovation in food and agriculture.
Building on last year's success, which saw ₦100 million disbursed to 26 agribusinesses, the new edition widens its scope to support scalable solutions tackling present and future food challenges.
The initiative targets Lagos-based or impact-driven startups aged 0–5 years, led by entrepreneurs aged 18–40. To qualify, applicants must be registered with CAC and LASSRA and present viable, well-defined solutions to real agricultural or food system problems.
Applicants are required to fill out an online form and submit a pitch deck showcasing their idea, its market viability, sustainability, and anticipated impact.

Selection will be based on originality, feasibility, contextual relevance, eco-alignment, clarity, and team strength.
Lagos Agrithon 2025 features both virtual and physical pitch stages, a mentorship hub, and culminates at the Lagos Agrinnovation Summit 2.0, where top innovators will be unveiled to investors, policymakers, and industry leaders.
Commissioner Abisola Olusanya called on stakeholders to support the movement: "This is an investment in the minds and hands that will feed our future."
