The Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines & Agriculture (NACCIMA) has signed on as an Institutional Partner for agrofood Nigeria 2026, West Africa's top international trade fair for the agro-allied, food, beverage, and packaging industries.
This partnership underscores NACCIMA's central role in advancing trade, industrial growth, and agricultural development while aligning with Agrofood Nigeria's mission of driving innovation, investment, and sustainability. Nigerian businesses are expected to gain access to global markets, cutting-edge technologies, and increased opportunities to showcase local products and solutions.
Speaking on the collaboration, NACCIMA Director General, Mr. Olusola Obadimu, said the agreement would empower Nigerian entrepreneurs to connect with international markets, embrace new ideas, and lead the transformation of the agro-allied sector.

Similarly, Mr. Paul Maerz, Managing Director of fairtrade Messe, organisers of agrofood Nigeria, noted that NACCIMA's involvement reinforces the event as a catalyst for business growth and industrial advancement.
Agrofood Nigeria 2026, scheduled for March 24–26 at Landmark Event Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos, will bring together manufacturers, suppliers, investors, policymakers, and innovators from over 16 countries. It aims to create a robust platform for dialogue, partnerships, and practical solutions to industry challenges.
Nigeria is one of Africa's fastest-growing investors in food and packaging technology, with imports of €304 million worth of equipment in 2023. The food market is projected to reach $233.53 billion by 2025, expanding at an annual growth rate of 10.76% through 2030. As the country's population surges towards 411 million by 2050, sustainable investment in food production, processing, and packaging remains critical.
