The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), led by Director-General Kashifu Inuwa, has launched a capacity-building programme to enhance ICT project planning, budgeting, and funding across federal institutions.
The initiative features expert-led sessions, interactive discussions, and case studies aimed at equipping public servants with global best practices in ICT financing and strategic planning.
It aligns with the Renewed Hope Agenda's goal of improving governance and service delivery through digital transformation.

Speaking on behalf of the DG, NITDA's Director of IT Infrastructure Solutions, Oladejo Olawunmi, highlighted the need for a unified government strategy in ICT execution.
He stressed that while technology itself does not fail, poor planning, inadequate funding, and lack of coordination often hinder efficiency.
The programme aims to ensure that digital initiatives align with national priorities, maximize value for money, and enhance public service delivery.
