Vice President Kashim Shettima has reaffirmed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's commitment to the survival and growth of Nigerian enterprises, emphasizing their role in driving economic sustainability.
During a visit to SecureID's Smartcard and Digital Solutions Facility in Lagos on Monday, Shettima lauded the company's 20-year journey from a local startup to a continental leader in digital solutions, now producing 200 million smartcards annually, including passports and voter ID cards.
He described SecureID as a testament to Nigeria's industrial potential, stating, "This enterprise embodies what our nation can achieve when given the right support."

He further stressed that economic growth hinges on enterprise development, citing the government's fiscal reforms and the Manufacturing Sector Fund as key interventions.
Shettima assured that the administration remains committed to fostering an environment where innovation thrives, allowing businesses to compete globally.
Dignitaries present at the event included Lagos Deputy Governor Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, SecureID's Group MD Kofo Akinkugbe, Chairman Dotun Suleiman, and industry leaders from banking, manufacturing, and transportation sectors.
