Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has reaffirmed his administration's commitment to empowering young creative minds by fostering innovation through entertainment and sports.
Speaking at the Lagos House, Marina, while receiving Marlene Ngoyi, CEO of the Fund for Export in Africa, alongside representatives of the E1 Powerboat Racing Team and football legend Didier Drogba, Sanwo-Olu emphasized the government's efforts to create an enabling environment for youth development.

"Our goal is to invest in initiatives that foster creativity, entrepreneurship, skills development, and socio-economic growth. We are committed to supporting teams with logistics, planning, approvals, visas, and promoting discussions for upcoming programs in September," he stated.
Ngoyi highlighted the visit's purpose, expressing interest in partnering with Lagos State on sustainable sports projects to positively impact African youth.
Sanwo-Olu reiterated Lagos' position as a model city, ensuring that the state remains a hub for innovation and excellence.
