The Federal Government has announced that micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) across Nigeria will compete for prizes worth over N220 million in the upcoming 7th National MSMEs Award.
Temitola Adekunle-Johnson, Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Tinubu on Job Creation and MSMEs, made this known during a press briefing on Monday.
He revealed that the registration portal will be open from March 7 to April 7, 2025, for all eligible businesses.
Adekunle-Johnson emphasized the government's commitment to empowering small businesses, noting that persons with disabilities (PWDs) will have a special category in the awards.

"This year, winners will receive shops, stores, cars, and cash prizes, while the overall winner will take home a house, store, car, and N20 million in cash," he said.
The awards, which recognize businesses across ten categories, will be overseen by a screening committee including the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), Standard Organisation of Nigeria (SON), and the Bank of Industry (BOI).
