Commissioner for Information, Youth, Sports, and Culture, Sagir Ahmad, disclosed this while briefing journalists on the outcomes of the State Executive Council meeting. He stated that despite the government's N2 billion contribution, matched by BoI with another N2 billion, and an additional N2 billion under a managed fund arrangement, the disbursement process remains sluggish. Read also: To address the issue, the state has directed BoI to speed up loan approvals and ensure timely disbursement to beneficiaries. A state committee overseeing the partnership will also engage BoI officials for further discussions. In addition, the council approved N347.6 million for constituency projects in the education sector, covering the construction and renovation of classrooms, supply of books, and provision of school uniforms across 20 local government areas. | | | |
