In a bold move to strengthen female-led businesses, the Lagos State Government is set to equip women entrepreneurs with essential digital and financial strategies to drive business growth.
The initiative, themed "Empowering Women, Elevating Businesses: Digital & Financial Strategies for Growth," will take place on March 12, 2025, at the Women Development Centre in Agege.
The event will feature top industry experts, business strategists, and financial specialists who will provide practical insights on leveraging e-commerce, securing funding, and scaling enterprises.

According to Hauwa Adeeyo, Senior Special Assistant to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Commerce, Cooperatives, Trade, and Investment, the program aligns with the International Women's Day 2025 theme, "Inspire Inclusion," reinforcing the government's commitment to financial inclusion and business sustainability for women entrepreneurs.
Beyond training, the initiative will offer direct funding, mentorship, and cooperative support, ensuring that women-led MSMEs in Lagos gain the tools they need to thrive in an evolving business landscape.
