The Oyo State Government has announced plans to host the 2025 International Trade Fair, EXPOYO 2025, aimed at promoting economic growth and showcasing the state's agricultural potential.
According to Hon. Adeniyi Adebisi, Commissioner for Investment, Trade, Cooperatives, and Industry, the trade fair will take place at the Permanent Trade Fair Complex in Sango, Ibadan, from April 4 to April 11, 2025.
With the theme "Achieving Food Security and Economic Stability in Oyo State through Massive Investment in Agriculture," the event is being organized in partnership with the Oyo State Council of Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (OYCCIMA).
Adebisi emphasized that EXPOYO 2025 will serve as a platform for industries, SMEs, farmers, and professional groups to showcase their products and services, ultimately empowering local businesses and fostering entrepreneurship.

The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Investment, Trade, Cooperatives, and Industry, Mr. Olajide Okesade, reaffirmed the government's commitment to supporting entrepreneurs and encouraged business owners to take advantage of the fair to network, secure trade deals, and enhance their value chains.
