The Federal Government, through the Ministry of Art, Culture, and the Creative Economy, has launched Phase 1 of the Creative Economy Development Fund (CEDF).
The fund targets content creators, filmmakers, fashion designers, musicians, and other players in Nigeria's creative industry.
CEDF offers grants, low-interest loans, and equity support to help scale creative businesses.

Eligible applicants include freelancers, startups, and registered companies in areas such as videography, event management, textile design, sound engineering, and creative tech.
To apply, creatives must present a valid ID, a business or project proposal, and a brief pitch. The initiative aims to boost the sector's growth, create jobs, and spotlight Nigerian talent globally.
