Nigeria's small and medium enterprises may soon benefit from a proposed tech partnership with South Korea, as Vice President Kashim Shettima welcomes collaboration with the Asia Economic Development Committee (AEDC) on solar equipment, electric vehicle (EV) manufacturing, and security-enhancing IT.
Speaking during a courtesy visit by AEDC Chairman Mr Yoon Suk-hun to the Presidential Villa, Shettima affirmed the government's readiness to support initiatives that promote industrial growth, technology transfer, and SME development.
"We want to be facilitators for businesses to thrive," he said, assuring a conducive environment for private sector investments.

The AEDC delegation expressed interest in empowering Nigeria's productive sector, not for profit maximisation, but to support innovation and capacity building especially in clean energy and mobility.
This partnership could open new doors for local SMEs in renewable energy, auto-tech, and digital security solutions, aligning with President Tinubu's industrialisation drive.
