The Lagos State Government has announced plans to host the inaugural Lagos Energy Summit in April 2025, with the aim of reshaping the state's energy sector through innovation, investment, and sustainable practices.
Set to take place from April 15 to 18 at the Oriental Hotel, the event will bring together industry players, investors, government officials, and innovators under the theme "Journey to Energy for All."
Commissioner for Energy and Mineral Resources, Abiodun Ogunleye, said the summit will focus on creating actionable policies, showcasing renewable energy technologies, and driving implementation of the Lagos State Energy Law 2024.

He said the event is not just a platform for dialogue but a launchpad for clean energy initiatives that will support 24/7 power supply, improve business operations, and attract both local and international investment.
The summit is expected to provide opportunities for small businesses, energy developers, and entrepreneurs to plug into Lagos' growing energy sector as the state pushes forward on its path toward energy sustainability and resilience.
