The policy mandates the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP) to prioritize Nigerian-made goods in public procurement. NASENI's Executive Vice Chairman, Khalil Suleiman Halilu, praised the initiative, saying it will boost demand for local products and empower indigenous entrepreneurs and manufacturers. "Government is a major buyer. This directive means increased demand across key sectors," he said.
