This commitment was made during a courtesy visit by a Brazilian delegation led by Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Livestock, Mr. Cleber Oleviera, to the Government House in Birnin Kebbi. Governor Idris praised Brazil's agricultural transformation and economic success, stating that Kebbi—widely recognized as the rice capital of Africa—was eager to learn from Brazil's experience to enhance its own progress in agriculture.
