Mrs. Mary Fom, State Coordinator of the National Social Investment Programme (NSIP), disclosed that debit cards have been issued to all beneficiaries, with 23,797 already collected. She noted that many beneficiaries are petty traders and small business owners who rely on the cash transfers to restock goods, expand their micro-enterprises, and meet daily needs. Read also: Fom added that other NSIP schemes such as N-Power, school feeding, and enterprise empowerment are part of broader efforts to stimulate grassroots businesses and support economic recovery. She praised President Bola Tinubu for sustaining the initiative and Governor Caleb Mutfwang for providing an enabling environment.
