During a meeting with Finance Minister and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun, in Abuja, she commended the government's reforms, stressing their potential to restore investor confidence and open new market access under the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA). Okonjo-Iweala emphasized the need to strengthen social safety nets and improve energy security to ensure that growth is inclusive. "The gains from reforms and trade opportunities must translate into real jobs and better livelihoods for Nigerians," she said.
